When it comes to roofing, corner flashings or verges are used to seal off the edge with a run of sheets. Corner flashings are an integral part of any profiled clad roof, as they provide weatherproofing and aesthetic appeal. Corner flashings are available in a variety of colours to match or contrast our roofing sheets. Attaching them to the roofing sheet is done with stitching screws.
When fitting corner flashings end to end, a minimum overlap of 100mm must be allowed. After manufacturing, they are refolded to an internal 90-degree angle and come in 3m lengths. They can flex 10 to 15 degrees in each direction, depending on your needs. These corner flashings are used to cut and seal off the ends of a run of sheets at the end, and they have a safety welt to strengthen the material’s tensile strength.
